Pictured in open seas on her maiden voyage in 2004, the Queen Mary 2 was at the time the world's largest ocean liner. She had been named by Queen Elizabeth II on January 8 that year and took over from the ship named after Her Majesty, The QE2 as the pride of Cunard's liner fleet.
This luxury 150,000-tonne, 345 metre-long liner sailed from Southampton, with 2,620 passengers and 1,253 crew on 12th January, 2004.
The ship has 1,310 cabins, 3,000 telephones and 2,000 bathrooms.
